This Rolex Submariner Date Bi-Metal features a blue unidirectional cerachrom bezel with numerals and graduations coated in 18ct yellow gold, blue dial with luminous dots and batons and a date window display at the 3 o’clock position. This is the 16613LB model with box and papers dated 2002 and Rolex service papers from 2019.

The famous 40mm Oyster case houses a Rolex calibre 3135 perpetual, mechanical, self-winding movement. This movement with perpetual rotor has obtained the official title of Swiss Chronometer.  It is in full working order.

The watch comes with the original Rolex box including original outer, Rolex papers dated 2002, Rolex service papers 2019, authenticity manual, two instruction booklets, Rolex green leather document wallet, swing ticket, Rolex leatherette servicing wallet, Rolex leatherette travelling pouch and 2-year guarantee from ourselves.

Case Condition: Excellent with hardly any noticeable marks.  Bracelet and Dial Condition: Excellent with no noticeable marks. Glass Condition: Excellent, no noticeable marks. The movement is in full working order.  Will fit a wrist size up to 195mm.

This Rolex with a blue dial and bezel is a highly desirable model. The watch case and bracelet are made from 18ct yellow gold and stainless steel and the desirability of the model is further enhanced as the fold over clasp has 18ct yellow gold running through it, creating a seamless feel to the watch bracelet. This is a feature of the newer models.

The first two-tone Submariner was unveiled in 1984 and since then the watch has transformed over successive models, however the core values and features have remained. The Submariner has the aesthetic qualities which belie its technical capabilities. The trip lock crown, a triple safety waterproof system is designed to face extreme depth and the watch is waterproof to a depth of 300m (1000 feet).  The date changes at midnight and can be rapidly adjusted. The graduated solid link stainless steel and 18ct gold Oyster bracelet has a three piece design, two pieces made from high quality stainless steel and one piece from 18ct yellow gold.  A tough sapphire crystal remains scratch resistant under the most arduous conditions.  The revolving bezel incorporates a ratchet and can only be turned anti clockwise for reliable checking of dive and decompression times. A handsome watch for every occasion.
