This yellow gold double Albert chain is graduated and is as a mark of its high quality is stamped on every link. It fastens with two swivel fasteners which are very in-keeping with the original style of the necklace. Attached to the chain is a traditional t-bar that would have been attached to the Albert chain when it was worn on a waistcoat. The medal is hallmarked Birmingham 1907. It has a vacant cartouche on the shield front to it which can be engraved. The Albert chain measures 406mm (16”) The medal hangs 60mm from the Albert chain and the t-bar hangs 30mm from the chain. The pendants and the chain weighs 47.6g in total.
