This pre-owned pendant is a striking piece of jewellery. This 9ct yellow gold double Albert chain is a solid link curb chain which is graduated and as a sign of quality, is stamped 9ct on each link. The chain is heavyweight and is 457mm (18”) in length. The double Albert fastens together with two 9ct yellow gold swivel fasteners which are authentic to this style chain and would have been used to attach a pocket watch to the chain. Hanging from the Albert chain is a 9ct gold t-bar and a 9ct gold Agate fob pendant which is hinged and opens.  The two sides to the pendant are contrasting in colour yet similar in style. The pendant is teardrop in shape and has a highly polished red/brown finish to one side and a polished brown tortoiseshell finish to the other side. The pendant has a fancy gold scroll top and hangs down from the double Albert chain.  Agate is a popular semi precious quartz gemstone, often used in Albert fobs due to its polishable nature and attractive colours and designs.  The Agate fob measures approximately 51mm and makes the finished length of the pendant approximately 508mm (20”)
