This 9ct rose gold plain polished arm bangle is a lovely piece of jewellery. Designed to fit on the upper arm archive images of ladies doing the ‘Charlston’ show them wearing a slave type bangle on the upper arm. They really were the item of jewellery for the ‘dedicated follower of fashion’ in the 1920’s. In the television series ‘Downton Abbey’ Lady Mary Crawley is often wearing one when she attends balls and other society occasions. This rose gold arm bangle is in excellent condition with no signs of any dents, which considering it is hallmarked London 1921, it is in excellent condition considering its age. It is highly polished, and the hallmark is clearly visible. The diameter of the bangle is approximately 87mm x 87mm and is 6.5mm in thickness.
