This pre-owned pendant is a striking piece of jewellery. This double sided pendant is set with Brazilian agate which is a natural quartz stone formed in areas of volcanic activity. The agate is formed when silica from groundwater gets deposited in the cavities of rock.  Many myths and legends surround Brazilian agate but the wearer of a Brazilian agate is said to become even more pleasant and agreeable!  The two sides to the pendant are contrasting in colour yet similar in style. One side has a blue green natural wave pattern and the other side is a circular black brown crustation fossil pattern. The pendant is set in a smooth rubbed edge 9ct rose gold mount which is round in shape. The edge of the pendant mount has oversized hallmarks and makers marks.  The pendant has an oversized 9ct rose gold top loop which has an attractive three rib design.  To give an idea of scale, the pendant measures approximately 38mm x 24mm. The pendant is on a heavyweight solid 9ct rose gold belcher chain which is 510 mm (20”) in length.
