This brooch has such a simple design but is a beautiful piece because of this design. The head of the brooch is fronted in platinum with the back of the brooch and the pin being made from 15ct yellow gold. The centre of the brooch is set with a large single stone Aquamarine. The stone has a lovely rich light blue colour and the head of the stone has many facets, making the stone sparkle. The stone is set in a rubbed edge setting with a milgrain edge. This is a safe and smooth setting. The brooch is approximately 52mm in length and the oval Aquamarine is approximately 6mm x 8.5mm The brooch fastens with a gold pin that has a fold over safety design.
