Set in a substantial 18ct yellow gold shank this ring is set with a solitaire princess cut diamond which is square in shape (from the top view) and weighs approximately 0.20 carats. Princess Cut was first used in the 1960’s by a London based diamond cutter and has become the second most popular cut of stone in diamond rings after the round brilliant cut.  The stone is held securely in place by an 4 claw double gallery setting. To give some idea of scale the top facet of the stone measures 4.5mm x 4.5mm and as the pictures show the 18ct yellow gold band is thick, polo mint in style, approximately 3.5mm at its widest point. UK size N, this ring can easily be resized in the workshop on our premises.
