The is a striking ring – an Edwardian era sapphire and diamond plaque ring. Typical of the Edwardian era, the name plaque ring refers to the flat, often smooth setting of the stones. This ring has a six diamonds and six cornflower blue sapphires set in platinum and it really is a beautiful design. Two princess cut sapphires are set to the centre of the ring with the 4 corners of the head also set with triangle shaped sapphires. The white of the six diamonds set in platinum compliments the rich colour of the 18ct gold shank. To give some idea of scale the head of the ring measures 9.5mm x 8mm. UK size L1/2, this ring can easily be resized in the workshop on our premises.
